Great article! I might add that if people have perceived you with an opinion or judgement, they will also filter everything you say, based on their own “judgement or opinion” of you. The church of Laodicea was described as “Luke Warm” — God can best use those who are HOT and can rechannel them to His work or those who are “COLD” because He can challenge and renew them. od cannot as easily use the indifferent…those who are locked in their comfort zone of mediocrity. I think we are living in the Laodiciean era in the USA…where calling ourselves “Christian” extracts nothing in committment and sacrifice.
